Faint positive 40 days since last period

So I’m on cycle day 40. I do have a very faint positive test. Clear blue digital saying 1-2 weeks. But that can’t be right.

my last period was 20tj July. So surely I must be getting much more stronger positives. I should be 5 weeks 4 days. I’m worried this means it’s not progressing.

my periods are regular from 25-29 days. What could this mean

Faint positive 40 days since last period

I think clear blue date from time of conception not date of last period so you are probably pregnant x congrats

I do agree that I see a positive. However it being 10 days since missed period. I feel like it should be stronger

Do you know when you ovulated? That’s the big question here and potentially more relevant than when your last period was.

To be honest, I would be worried too. Faint lines when your period is already late can unfortunately mean the pregnancy isn't progressing, though obviously there can be other explanations too. It's so tough but you may have to wait and see what happens, but guard your heart in readiness just in case it's bad news x

If I’m honest no I don’t know when I ovulated. All I can go by, is my periods for the last year have been regular. 25-32 days I guess I could push it too. Which I still think is too faint for the positives I’m getting atm

Thank you for your honesty. I struggle to believe it’s going to end any other way than bad. However, how long does/could it take for a chemical pregnancy to pass, or miscarriage etc?

the top two are clear and simple sticks. 3rd is Asda. All very faint lines

Update bloods done Saturday 36 miu, bloods today 51 miu. So not much progression in two days. Also I cannot have ovulated at a normal time for a normal pregnancy

Ahh, sorry about the bloods - that doesn’t sound so positive (but not impossible that things are still ok).

I wouldn’t worry too much about any implications of late ovulation. I ovulated on CD24 with my now 8 year old.
