MyChart screening result - freaking out

Hi,
Had my 12 week scan yesterday that all looked okay. Today MyChart has shown that my blood results from the screening test are back already but that I can’t view them yet? I’m panicking that they’ve come back quickly because there’s something wrong and that it’s sensitive so can’t be released on MyChart. Last time I had a baby I just got a letter in the post a couple of weeks later. Has anyone had this? Is it normal?

The Trust I had my 2 with have dedicated midwives to deal with these tests. I am pretty sure they would have phoned if there was anything wrong. When it happened to me they phoned with the results and my options.

Thank you so much for replying. Can I ask how long ago this was? For my last baby MyChart didn’t exist so this is new to me and I don’t know if I’m worrying over something that is just standard. The message that the test results had arrived came at 6pm so I guess I’m freaked out about that and wondering if I’ll get a call tomorrow morning, as it has arrived in the evening.

My docs are doing bloods so quickly these days. I'm sure it used to be 1 or 2 weeks but my last set were back next day. So it is probably that. Don't worry.

They may need to review / sign off the bloods before releasing the results

My eldest has just turned 2. It was honestly the worst week of my life up till then waiting for the results of the second test. Give them a call tomorrow if it doesn't change.

Hi, not pregnancy related but I have regular blood tests for a health issue and they are always back 24/48 hrs now and seem to become available once the Dr has looked at them.

Thank you all, this is really reassuring

States of limbo in these situations are just unbearable. So sorry to hear that was your experience and thank you so much for your kind response to me and understanding how anxiety inducing waiting on blood tests is. I’ll definitely give a call if it doesn’t change.
