Could a very early pregnancy scan indicate twins at 3 to 4 weeks?

Hi, I had a super early pregnancy scan. Estimated 3-4 weeks at the time. I’ve been told to go back in 3 weeks for another scan. Just wondering could this be twins… did anyone’s early scan look like this and turn out to be twins?

What were you told at the scan? As only a professional can look and tell you.

You normally can’t see anything at all at 3-4 weeks. Just a thickened lining and if you’re lucky a sac. Is there a reason you had a scan this early? Most people don’t even get a positive test until 3.5 weeks earliest.
