Dopplers at home - are they any good?

Hello everyone. One of the ladies on my antenatal thread mentioned something called an "angel doppler" for listening to the baby at home. Can anyone give me any advice on whether these are good? I imagine they must be quite reassuring? Many thanks!

I bought mine from Anawiz but a bit cheaper, on ebay. Really fab! Can highly recommend it.

They are not that expensive and it can reassure you all is well with baby.

i bought an angel sounds one from eBay and it is actually totally fine - unlike the posh ones it doesn't give you a digital read out - but you hear it fine.

The big thing to watch out for is to make sure you're getting a doppler & gel. Anegel sounds do one that can be used without gel and all reviews I've head of that have been rubbish.

When i was pregnant with dd3 i bought the angelsounds monitor and it was rubbish as im a size 20, but this time i managed to get a bargain bf200 handheld doppler like the midwives use for £35 delivered! We use it mostly at weekends when the kids can all lie in bed with us and listen to their new sister

I have the Angel Sounds one with gel, and it has been great. I got a hb really early and I really enjoy listening to baby's little world.

I got mine from ebay brand new, think it was £27 which was much cheaper than the same model on Amazon.

I have one which I had for my dcs and it was a god send (providing you know how to use it properly, otherwise it can be pretty stressful if you can't find a heartbeat).

It is in perfect working order but I have no gel for it, and the battery cover is missing. I'm open to low offers for it, as it is hanging around, and I'm too tired to have any more babies!
