Hi, sorry in advance on the long post but would really appreciate if anyone could shed any light on this or has been through a similar experience.
Last week I went to the toilet one morning and I could not pee. I waited several hours and I still could not. I was sent to A&E and catheterised there where they drained a lot of urine. They thought I was possibly having an adverse reaction to an anti-sickness medication I was taking called Xonvea.
Yesterday I had my catheter removed and by the evening I had gone into retention again. I was asked to go to a&e again and have been catheterised again. They are now thinking it is possibly due to constipation. Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this?
thank you in advance!
