Hey guys!
Im just looking for abit of advice on what to do. This is my 5th pregnancy and in the past I've had some bad births with my previous babies. Just to give abit of back story -
1st, born early (32 weeks) via forceps so I had a episiotomy.
2nd, full term but got stuck, born via episiotomy and ventouse.
3rd, full term and came fine but had a 3rd degree tear.
4th, got really badly stuck, had hands all up in me, around his head and (sorry for tmi) in my backside trying to unwedge his shoulder. He was born not breathing, really blue and swollen in the face. Has had developmental delays due to his birth and now the doctors think he may have autism and possible adhd.
I am classed as high risk due to the previous preterm birth and my last babies labour and delivery, this pregnancy they are monitoring the babies growth as my last baby was on the bigger side (9lb 2oz), I have now been gave the option of a csection or to try naturally and if anything even looks abit off then be rushed for a csection anyway.
So my question is, what would you guys do? Try naturally on the off chance everything might be fine or just go for a csection anyway? For some reason I've always had a fear of having a csection and it makes me really anxious thinking about it. Maybe I'm being a baby because other women do them every day and they are fine. I just want them to come safe and healthy so if you think csection is the way to go, how do I get over this fear and anxiety around the mear thought of it?
Sorry for the ramble at the end, any replies are appreciated 🩷
