Hi i had 2 pregnancy test say im pregnant 1 2 meaning im 3 4 weeks pregnant I havent had period in over 5 6 years due to been on depo injection and today I had scan but nothing showing and I had no bleeding to say i had miscarriage do u think im early to see on scan im confused mummy

How many weeks are you now? You won't be able to see anything in the scan until 6 weeks (if it's a vaginal scan) or 7 weeks (for a regular scan). What did they say to you? Have they taken your blood?

Yes had bloods done and everything was normal and I should be 5wks 3 days plus they sent me for scan to find out a date im due as i haven't had period over 5 6 yrs so couldn't work it out myself but iv no bleeding and I feel like I got butterflies

Have they suggested next steps? They should repeat the scan at 6 weeks.

Have they taken your blood twice, 48h apart? This is how they would know if the pregnancy is progressing normally or if it could be ectopic

They havent said anything as of yet im so confused but they test me it came back negative but I got butterflies and all pregnancy symptoms

I'm confused, did you initially test positive but now are testing negative?

Yes did 2 test come back im pregnant then they done one after scan it negative im confused myself there no bleeding to say o had miscarriage or anything and I jad ectopic pregnancy before so I know it not that

It sounds like you've had an early miscarriage, from what I've read the depo injection can lead to miscarriage without bleeding, but i would probably research that a bit more. If youre worried you could retake the pregnancy test and ask for another scan at 6 weeks or 48h blood tests

If the two digital tests you took were from the same pack I wonder if it was a faulty batch.

How long was in between getting the positive tests at home, and the negative test after the scan?

I did one on 5th August and then 14th august and then one today after scan

Iv gotta wait 2 weeks and retest and re scan

Could i still be pregnant then?
