Early pregnancy spotting and cramps, worried about ectopic pregnancy

Early pregnant here, I commented before about a few days of spotting around the time I was due as I found out 4 days before my period. Contacted the GP about the spotting however they couldn’t give me much of an update with being so early on, so I have officially missed my period and discharge/spotting has stopped. However I am really worrying myself as I sometimes get the odd cramps and a lot of gurgling. Today I’ve woken up with a sore neck it hurts when I look side to side or place it forward it goes up the back of my head, I also felt lightheaded this morning however I hadn’t eaten a lot. But basically I am really freaking out about an ectopic pregnancy, does anyone have any advice?

If you feel that you're going to worry yourself sick about it then see if they can scan you at the EPU, or book a private scan.

Honestly, early pregnancy can bring lots of cramps, lightheadedness, odd gurgly feeling, bloating, heart racing, muscle pain - it's a real delight.

I think it’s to early for a scan etc, I want to go for an early one but I don’t want to be too early and there’s no heartbeat, but also wanna make sure it’s in the right place, feel like I’m in overdrive

You wouldn't be scanning for a heartbeat, just to make sure it's not ectopic. You have to figure out whether you are just anxious about the pregnancy, or you actually think there's a chance it's ectopic. If you don't have any severe symptoms then it's really quite unlikely.

Early pregnancy can be anxiety inducing, but I promise you that worrying will not change the outcome either way, so best to take a deep breath and ride it out.

Problem is if you have a scan too early they won’t be able to confirm if it’s in the right place anyway.

OP unless you have severe symptoms of something like heavy bleeding I don’t think even the EPU will scan you before 6 weeks. Possibly 5 if they suspect ectopic. But if you’re under 5 weeks they likely won’t even be able to see sac yet to confirm where it is.

Does what I’ve said suggest ectopic symptoms to you? Ovbs I know your know doctor but it’s really hard to know if I’m overthinking which I probably am as I worry over everything

Could you just have a sore neck?
Gurgling isn't a sign of ectopic as far as I'm aware, or at least it's not something I was told to look for when I had a suspected ectopic (it turns it was ectopic when they eventually found it).
The only way you will get an idea of likelihood is by tracking hcg through blood tests and to know for certain is an early scan which most trusts won't do until at least 6 weeks with symptoms.
Have you had one before?
Having had a previous the advice I've been given is that if I get pregnant I need to call the epu after my missed period and they will scan me at 6 weeks, if I have any severe pain, shoulder tip pain or spotting before the scan then I call them back. I know everywhere is different, but I don't think it would be too different in different areas.

Well I was thinking like maybe I have just slept funny, I think I panic because I spotted right around my period as I got a positive before my period so I don’t know if I’ve just put all my symptoms that have been spread across these couple of weeks together and came up with this if that makes sense
