2nd pregnancy symptoms SO much worse than 1st pregnancy

I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant. It's my second pregnancy after my first pregnancy resulted in loss at 20 weeks in February.

I'm so surprised by how much worse my symptoms have been. During my first pregnancy I definitely experienced both nausea and fatigue, but they were quite manageable. This time around, my nausea has been significantly worse (though still manageable) but my fatigue is really killing me. I find I have energy in the morning but if I get a couple of things done I completely crash in the afternoon and take really long naps, and basically have to sit or lie down for the rest of the day. It's so frustrating because I feel like I can barely get anything done. I'm just so surprised the pregnancies have been so different so far.

Has anyone else experienced this and when did the fatigue go away?

Sucks, but it's hopefully a positive thing and means the pregnancy is doing well. It should go between 12 and 16 weeks, but if it's really bad or doesn't go, talk to your midwife because you could be anemic or something else.

Sorry fo your first loss. Second pregnancy here too I have DD aged 3. The nausea has been debilitating this time around definitely from week 5-9 currently 12 weeks an it has eased but some days it can raise its ugly head. I just ate constantly through it. The fatigue is definitely worse too an I don’t think it’s anything to do with the 3 yr old. I could literally fall asleep during work if I’m just sat at my desk.
