Where can I check if beauty products are safe in pregnancy?

Most beauty/hair products it says to check with healthcare provider before using when pregnant.

My midwife is not going to know on individual brands and be able to sign them off. Is there anywhere you can if beauty products are safe to use in pregnancy?

I just use AI to check it.
Make sure you don’t use anything containing retinol/retinoids (vitamin A derivatives) in creams.
Also check for ingredients like hydroquinone, high-strength salicylic acid, and some essential oils.

I find this website useful although I think it can be a bit extreme sometimes. Find to check the odd handcream or something.
