I had a miscarriage earlier this year. At around 9 weeks I lost my baby 😔 after a series of scans where we saw the heartbeat but the baby was just too tiny. This time around I measured pretty much right on track at 6w6d ultrasound and a very clear heartbeat was seen. Since then I’ve had zero symptoms and I can’t help but spiral back to what happened before. Should I be concerned or should I get a
Reassurance scan? Any advice welcome 🤍

I didn’t have any symptoms til 8 weeks, and I had twins and my HCG was through the roof. Sometimes there’s no rhyme or reason – every body will respond individually.

I’m sorry about your miscarriage. That experience must make this very nerve wracking. Take it one day at a time.

I had a mmc at 6 weeks last year and now I’m currently pregnant again with my 12 week scan in two weeks. I had a scan at the epu due to bleeding early on and saw baby and heartbeat measuring 6+4, I am currently 10 weeks and the wait for the 12 week is so hard but after a bad experience of a private scan last year I am just choosing to wait for the 12 week scan.

I had about a week between 5/6 weeks where I felt terrible but then the day before my epu scan my symptoms just seem to settle dramatically. Since then I rarely have symptoms and now I don’t really have any at all. So many people say it’s normal and that they didn’t have symptoms throughout their pregnancy! It is quite normal even though every where you look people always seem to say how bad their symptoms are. If a private scan is going to give you reassurance then go for but no symptoms or lack of symptoms are more common than people think. The anxiety I have is crazy due to this but I do keep telling myself that this pregnancy is different to my last one and I saw my baby with a heartbeat and I am just holding on to that and the hope that my baby is happy and healthy in there.
