Was everything okay? I’ve read a lot about it maybe miscarries, or a false positive

Tinytotdriver · 09/08/2026 10:44

I got a negative at 10 and positive at 11 dpo
Are you sure about your date of ovulation? Though it’s not impossible, people have had positives at 9

Well I got my LH surge on the 30th July.. so I’ve gone for 31/1 and it would be 8/9 DPO x

Not too early, that's a strong positive for 9DPO, even mine with twins wasn't that strong at 9DPO. You could have multiples or ovulated earlier than you thought. Congratulations!

lauren19890 · 09/08/2026 13:11

I misscarried unfortunately, not sure getting a postive on 9dpo was anything to do with that though

ThatMintMember · 09/08/2026 15:03

Congratulations! It's not too early for a positive and that looks like a great positive for 9dpo. I had my first positive at 9dpo and now 25 weeks pregnant!

Never heard anything about early positives and miscarriage (if anything it's the opposite as your HCG is high enough to detect the pregnancy early). Also not likely to be a false positive as that's a good pink line but maybe test again in a day or 2 to make sure :)

I've got a DS, had 2 miscarriages and now pregnant again so speaking from experience. Try not to worry!

I’ve had light pink CM and now I really am freaking out. I really hope it work outs 🤞🏼

Hopefully that's just some leftover implantation bleeding. Fingers crossed for you!

I've had both my positives at 8/9dpo - one is currently a 2 year old and I'm 8 weeks with the other with heartbeat seen on ultrasound. I think for some pregnancies the embryos just implant very early. When I had a chemical pregnancy my positive was much later at 13dpo, so for me at least, an early positive is a better sign.

Straight away for me personally. Normally getting him to confirm he's seen a line too 🤣 if I lose the pregnancy I need his support and we'd go through it together.

Are you scared to tell them for some reason? What are you worried is going to happen? I hope you're ok. I'm just a bit worried you need an internet strangers say so on whether your test is positive enough to tell your partner. There's definitely a second line, you've definitely had a positive pregnancy test. I told my husband on a lot less, but no one can say what will happen to the pregnancy from here or whether this will end up as a loss, or at what point you're comfortable telling your partner. The testing time or line strength won't tell you that I'm afraid, they're a yes or no answer.

I totally get that it's an anxious time, but kindly it's going to get a lot harder than this. Please be on the look out for healthy coping mechanisms and Dr intervention through the pregnancy if it gets worse because those hormones do change you and it's a very emotional time.

thank you for responding though I am very grateful

Believe your own eyes not chatgpt 🤣 I don't know what it's talking about. I don't think they can pick up what human eyes can. Hope all goes well for you.
