Sickness in first pregnancy but none in the next. Anyone experienced this?

Hi mums, I have a question. I’m anxious as with my first pregnancy I felt sick from 5 weeks, started being sick at 6 weeks and was sick up until 22 weeks. Back in June I got pregnant again but sadly miscarried at 6 and a half weeks, I’d had basically no symptoms. I’m now pregnant again, and I’m bloated and a bit tired but no sickness at all. I’m 6 and a half weeks again and terrified I’m going to miscarry again. Does anyone have stories of having had bad sickness with one pregnancy and none in another? And things going on to be fine?

Yes me i had awful nausea for twenty weeks, so bad I couldn’t work I was constantly dizzy too. Absolutely nothing three years later, I had a much heavier baby of the same sex.

I felt sick and exhausted all the time with first pregnancy (a girl). The second and third pregnancies I felt very well and energetic (both boys). Perhaps the gender makes a difference!

Hope you have a successful pregnancy. Best wishes

Yep! Hyperemesis 5 weeks until the very end with my daughter, I lost over 2 stone and was being sick as I was pushing her out.

My next pregnancy I had no symptoms at all, he’s now a 1 year old beautiful healthy almost toddler!

I know the anxieties around miscarrying, I lost many. I’m so sorry for your loss. ♥️

Wishing you a healthy and happy 9 months x

I had bad HG in my first pregnancy only (I’m on my fifth pregnancy now). I was sick in all of my other pregnancies but never HG level.

Apparently it’s quite common for first pregnancies to be the sickliest.

I’m just over 6 weeks now and understand the fear of loss (I’ve had 3 missed miscarriages). Hope all goes well for you 🙏

I had one pregnancy that I was properly throwing up by 6 weeks that I lost. Currently pregnancy I’ve made it to the second trimester and have had literally only one afternoon of nausea (not even sickness). Good luck xxx
