Hi, just looking for some reassurance really. I am 5 weeks pregnant, a very wanted pregnancy I have had two very early miscarriages before this and already have one child. I already struggled with anxiety before being pregnant but atm I’m just worried about everything, worried about an eptopic pregnancy, worried because every now and then I have been getting a slight chest pain. Every single ache or pain or symptom is sending me spiraling and convinced there’s something wrong with me. I’m hoping all these symptoms I’m getting are simply just linked to my anxiety! I just feel really down. These hormones have a lot to answer for. I just wondered if anyone else has been in the same boat.
thanks in advance x

congratulations OP , are you on any anti anxiety meds? The odds are really in your favour and most pregnancies turn out healthy babies

I think anxiety to an extent is normal but this sounds abit more. I'd go to the drs for support :)

I have two children and trying for a third. I've also had two very early miscarriages in a row and am now pregnant again. If I'm still pregnant on Tuesday I'll be further along than I have been with the previous two pregnancies. I'm also very worried as a result of this. Things I have done to take action this time around: I've phoned the early pregnancy unit to tell them I'm pregnant (I went there when I had the miscarriages) and they've organised for me to have an early 6 week scan next week. Can you phone your unit and ask for the same? I've also taken aspirin (75mg) each day. It's meant to help blood flow to the uterus and with some caveats on some health issues (read up on it) it's widely recommended after miscarriages. When I spoke to the epu the advice was to take aspirin. I am also taking additional vitamin d. I suffer with general anxiety so I understand how this can affect so much of daily life.

I am so worried to. I’m exactly 5 weeks. Everytime I google my symptoms they tell me eptopic and I am freaking!!
