Terrified of baby catching hsv from me

Long story story I had my first outbreak of hsv-1 in 2018. As far as I know this was my one and only outbreak.

To be on the safe side my midwife put me on acyclovir from 36 for my first pregnancy and reassured me that the risk of baby catching it is very very low.
My baby did end up catching it (I don't know how ans the doctors don't either) so we spent 3 weeks with her on an iv when she was 3 weeks old. It was honestly awful and so traumatic for me.

im now pregnant again and Im going to have a c section to make the risk lower but I still feel so worried every day. If my second baby caught it I have no idea what I would do as I have a small toddler at home.

I wondered if anyone else has been in a similar situation?

Not happened to me directly but typically babies do carry antibodies if they have been exposed to it. You’ve done everything you can to protect them from it. All involved in your birth plan will be extra vigilant and cautious. Try not to worry stress brings on flare ups. You’re doing everything in your power to prevent this from happening again. Take it easy xx
