When was your first pregnancy scan and what did it show?

when was your first scan and what could you see at that time/why did you have it?

My friends was 6 weeks due to pains and bleeding, the baby was fine.

My other friends' was 13 weeks which was the normal ultrasound and she found it was twins.

I am TTC.

10 weeks both times because I was too impatient and anxious to wait until the public scan so I went private for an early scan.

With my first it was a routine dating scan at 12 weeks and showed a healthy foetus which turned out to be DS1.

With my 2nd and 3rd I'd moved to a different area and I had my first and only scans at around 18 weeks. With both I found out I was having another healthy baby boy.

I’ve had many early pregnancy scans for various reasons. Pain/bleeding/reassurance. All around 7-9 weeks and unfortunately for me all of them showed the foetus had stopped growing and no heartbeat so all were missed miscarriages.

10 weeks as I was impatient to wait 2 more weeks and just wanted to be able to tell a few close friends / family. First time waited until 12wk scan

I had an early one with my now 3 month old at 6 weeks (super early!!) bc of a previous mc. Tiny little bean with a heartbeat. I cried tears of relief when I saw the measurements were right as at my 8 week one on the mc I could see immediately that although they had a heartbeat, they were way too small to be a viable embryo.

My first was at 7 weeks, a private scan because I wanted to tell close friends/family and I didnt believe the tests! It showed a sac with a little blob of an embryo and a heartbeat

7ish weeks, private scan. First baby so was scared/nervous and excited.
Very little to see, just the little blob and heartbeat.

Six weeks with first following infertility to confirm a pregnancy ... showed a heartbeat.

Twenty weeks with second as standard anomaly scan ... showed issues with the baby's kidneys.
