The answer is ANUSOL!!

Piles can be sooo uncomfortable.

I had to go into the chemist infront of everyone and ask if Anusol was okay for pregnant ladies

Use the stick too (even if you don't think yours are internal)

go to your gp

he/she will prescribe proctosedyl

it is Very Good Indeed

Proctosedyl did it for me - over the counter stuff is shite. However you can't actually use proctosedyl till you deliver - sorry.

I had piles when I was pregnant - bloody horrid!! Bought emergency anusol at waitrose and of all the items I had that was the one that failed to scan at the till! Cue red faced teenaged boy buzzing for help and VERY red faced pregnant lady waddling (not v fast due to piles) out of VERY busy waitrose. It takes a couple of days to work and I found that hot showers/baths (obviously not too hot!!) were really soothing. Hope you get rid of them, they really are nasty - sooo painful.
