Nappy recommendations

Newly pregnant. Planning on grabbing little bits as the time goes on, pack of nappies here, box of wipes there etc. but it’s been 7 years since I bought nappies. Last time I did a mix of pampers and aldis own. What do people think is the best these days? I have aldi, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Lidl near me to choose from.

I'm due in November and plan on getting Aldi nappies to start with so it's nice and cheap when doing the most nappy changes. Then later on I'll probably switch to Pampers as I found both Aldi and Tesco leaked from a certain age and neither of them lasted overnight without my DS waking soaked.

I don't rate Aldi wipes though as they were quite dry. I'll just get the Tesco water wipes. Tesco do a good deal on the Pampers if you buy in bulk too as I still get them for my DS (you may be able to get the delivered so figured it's still worth mentioning).

Aldi for sizes newborn-3, Pampers after then but you’ll have to supermarket hop to get the sensible pricing!

I think like clothing brands, it depends on the shape of your baby. We liked Sainsbury's in the early days as they have the same poonami pocket as pampers. We used pampers for long walks in the carrier and overnight then switched to Tesco once she was weaned and pooing less.
