I just posted about back pain, but I was just at sainsbury and was putting my basket up on the counter, but missed a bit and ended up colliding my bump (of 25 weeks) with the edge of the metal basket - it hurt a bit but not a lot but it really scared me... can that hurt my baby? Should I call the midwife or will they think I'm crazy? Of course, baby's not moving around right now either... I couldn't have caused any serious damage, could I have??

call your midwife for reasurance. i had a car accident at about 25 weeks or later and really hurt my bump but baby was fine. they are fairly well padded.

Unlikely to be a prob but call anyway. They may ask to to go in so they can have a listen with the doppler.

thanks for the reassurance shehera... and effieperine!! That's exactly what I wanted to hear
The more I think about it... the jab was near the top and that's where teh feet are, right? So I couldn't have done any damage to the head anyway I think.
I've put a call in to the doctor. They don't let me see the midwife all that much at my local surgery. Dr should be calling back soon.

I agree, very unlikely, they are very well protected in there!

I went flying while out on a walk at around 25 weeks, and landed on my side(-ish), and all was well.
Woulda thought you'd be just fine, but do call MW just to set your mind at rest.
