Paracetamol in pregnancy - any limits on this?

I know paracetamol is the only 'safe' painkiller to take whilst pg but is there a limit to how often/how many you take?

I have been really achy for a couple of days now and struggling - paracetamol makes me feel human for a few hours but I don't want to keep taking them (only having 2 every 5 or 6 hours, twice a day) if it is unsafe.

Hi CB, twice a day is fine , I used paracetamol during my pregnancy as well for a week at a time, and when I went into labour they sent me home and toldme to take 2 paracetamols and come back later hmm

You can take the same dose as someone who is not pregnant which is a total of 8 tablets in 24 hours ie 2 tabs (1g) every 4-6 hours.
