Irregular fetal heart rate

Does anyone have experience of their unborn baby having an irregular heart rate, missed beats or ectopics. I’m 32 weeks and for the last 3 weeks have been having weekly monitoring via Doppler for baby’s heart rate.

I have a growth scan and consultant appt (low Papp A) at 36 weeks where they’ve said if heart rate is still abnormal then birth options will be discussed.

I guess I’m wondering if anyone has had the same and what the outcome was?
my 20 week scan showed normal growth of the heart.

Have they looked into it any further so far? My baby had SVT in utero and the Doppler wasn’t an option for monitoring her heart rate as it just wasn’t accurate with it (can’t remember why), and scans were the only way to look at her heart properly. I no that’s different as it’s a fast heart rate but I’m surprised they’ve only used a Doppler so far, I think I’d be pushing for a scan sooner

Yes, my now 20 year old had supra ventricular tachycardia with atrial flutter. I was very closely monitored from week 24 on when it was discovered. I spent a few weeks in hospital while medication was adjusted - I took a drug called flecanide which regulated baby’s heart but I had to be monitored as well as him as my heart didn’t need the drug so the dose was closely monitored and I had regular ecgs. He had cardio version immediately after birth and has been 100% since, as have I!

I have had a scan which showed a missed beat or ectopic now and again. The heart rate isn’t fast, it’s a normal rate just irregular.
