Hi

Has anyone ever experienced this? So Ive been at my job for about a year and Ive just told them Im pregnant.

Since then I feel theyve been a little off with me.

They questioned why I was not in on one of our three compulsory day despite me mentioning it was an antenatal appointment and keep mentioning about concerns around how theyre going to cover my work when Im off for "such a long period".

Ive not been asked how Im doing once. Is this usual!?

Thinking out loud and forward planning is quite usual.

If they had to ask why you weren't in, they very likely forgot the reason.

Either way, your maternity cover is not your problem so I'd try to ignore.

Well the answer to their concerns is that they hire maternity cover. Have they never had anyone go on maternity before?

Either way, even if their attitude is off, it's not your problem. Happens everyday in businesses up and down the country.
