Hi all,

Just hoping for some advice.
I have a history of endometriosis and usually have extremely painful periods, however the last couple of periods I have had have been completely painless, bang on 28 days. Over the last few weeks I have been feeling really rough, IBS type symptoms, diarrhea whenever i eat anything, feeling nauseous, off food, no appetite and feeling full quickly whenever I eat, I have done a pregnancy test which was negative. I paid for a private ultrasound scan this morning and the lady who did it said there didnt seem to be anything untoward just ? Polyp. However when I have looked at the pictures there are some black areas that look like sacs. Has anyone ever seen anything like this before and can explain what these are to me?
Thank you in advance. X

Just spaces around your womb I'd say. The second picture shows clearly your uterus with something they have measured (polyp at a guess) xxx

the fluid like sac things look like a pregnancy sac but I’m no expert.

So you think she’s got multiple pregnancy sacs and the scanner didn’t notice?

No the first picture looks like a sac. Where did I say multiple?

You can ask AI to interpret it. We did this with the x-rays of dd’s broken leg and it matched exactly what the doctor said.

Well you said “things” plural. And the OP was asking what the other “black things that look like sacs”. So everyone is talking about multiple things.

Apologies, ‘THING’

Its more the big black thing lower down. I am trying to figure out what it is. If you zoom in it to it it looks like a very small baby. I am having really strange symptoms thats why I got the scan done and several people have told me it looks like a small baby but I just wanted more peoples opinion whilst I wait for my other appointment x

I would ask the consultant to tell you (as someone who spent hours trying to figure out what my endometriosis MRI said before my appt, it was just impossible to interpret even with AI!). Do you have a chance to ask anyone?

MatriarchCaz · 24/07/2026 13:49

It could be the bladder, a scanner would definitely have said if it was a baby xxx
