Help understanding first trimester screening results - blood test HCG

Hello,

Could anyone help interpret blood test results below

Free Beta HCG 2.3
PAPP-A 0.65

NT 1.2mm risk Tri 21 1:665 lower chance

They are quite different results to my previous pregnancy due to the HCG being a lot higher - 2.3x higher than average. Anyone know what could cause this to be elevated?

Thanks

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Could be any number of reasons. Without knowing your full medical history it would be impossible to say. Those results are completely fine though and wouldn’t require any further screening. Good luck with your pregnancy!

Thank you for the reassurance.
Previous pregnancy HCG was 1.06 MoM and 1:18000 risk so guess I wasn’t expecting it to be quite so different which is making me wonder what it actually means!

How old are you now? And how old then? Age makes a huge difference. But as previously said, that's a low risk result.

30 and 33

background risk 1:925 and 1:528 respectively based on age alone.

*29 & 33 I mean.

i didn’t think age would affect it by this much I’m sure it’s due to high HCG and lower PAPP-A?
