Light pink spotting at 5 weeks pregnant, has anyone had this?

im 5 weeks and 3 days and ive just gone to the toilet and there was a tiny amount of pink blood when i wiped. I’ve not bled since and no bad cramping just a very slight ovary pain now and again.

just want to know if anyone has had anything similar please? Freaking out a little 😟

Bleeding can happen in pregnancy for lots of reasons and doesn't mean that the pregnancy is over. Subchorionic Hematomas can be a common cause for bleeding as can bleeding from an irritated cervix.

A tiny amount of pink blood is better than lots of bright red blood but really only time will tell. See how you are tomorrow, maybe take another test in the morning to see if the line is still dark.

I've had a pregnancy where I bled a horrendous amount that put me in hospital several times and baby was fine and I had another pregnancy where the early bleeding was a loss.

I bled a few times at 8 weeks, bright red. Had a scan and all was fine. Midwife said it’s way more common than we think and you need to worry if you’re getting bad pain or passing clumps of blood bigger than a 60p coin. I phoned 111 and they were great talking me through what symptoms to look for and when to go to A&E

I had some light bleeding around the same time in 2/3 of my pregnancies. Absolutely terrifying the first time but it didn’t come to anything either time and I went on to have very uncomplicated pregnancies and they’re both happy healthy children now
