Negative test 13 days after sex with early pregnancy symptoms

I need someone to be brutally honest with me now😂My periods have been super irregular since my son, I have had every test & scan done and kept getting told everything is fine, I had unprotected sex 13 days ago and then most recent 10 days ago(no doubt in my mind I was ovulating due to discharge etc), I have EVERY symptom possible of early pregnancy (I never get symptoms before a period just the cramping) but did a test this morning and it was negative(freedom tests which i am now learning arent the best)With my son I didn't find out until I was 6-7 weeks as wasn't trying and was in denial, looking back I had symptoms from about 11 days after unprotected sex but not sure when I ovulated that time. I feel like I am now going crazy and my mind is playing tricks, I have got super sore&heavy boobs(even my nipples are changing and areolas getting darker), keep needing a wee, so so tired, nauseous like no tomorrow and can't eat certain foods, I had cramps for about 2-3 days which I thought was my period coming but that was 3 days ago now. Please tell me your honest opinion and your stories if this has happened😅

I have felt like that and not been pregnant, and I've felt much better than that and been pregnant. If you have enough HCG to cause symptoms, it should show on an early test (like the easy@homes or first response. Progesterone mimics pregnancy symptoms and rises in the second half of your cycle, so much more likely you just have high progesterone.

Do you want to be pregnant? It's not to say you're not as you still could be if you're only 10dpo and just not showing on yet as embryo hasn't implanted or built up HCG. But the symptoms are unlikely to be caused by pregnancy if no positive test. Test again using a more sensitive test or in a few days to be sure.

Thankyou. I am hoping to be, its just bizarre as I had all these symptoms with my son but didn't test until I was 6-7 weeks so unfortunately I can't compare to see when I would've showed up positive. As my periods are irregular I am not unsure when it's even due to know if it's something else

I’ve never heard of the freedom tests but try a FRER. With all my pregnancies I’ve had a positive on those from 8 DPO but it didn’t show up on the easy@home tests until later on!

Did you take a clear blue test? A clear blue picked my pregnancy up a week before I was due on!

I used freedom test strips which apparently dont pick up until after your late so I have ordered other tests now, clearblue seems to be the best choice x
