Hi everyone!

I've come on here as I'm needing some words of wisdom from mums who have experienced the same thing. I currently have a 3.5 and 1.5 year old and in a couple weeks will be having my 3rd 🫠

I am just so exhausted with the pregnancy, plus having 2 little ones already kinda drives me insane almost every day and wondering how it will be when another comes along kinda frightens me lol.

Does anyone have advice on what I could do to firstly try remain calm most days rather than becoming crazy from all the chaos plus housework, cooking etc. And also, will it really be all that bad when the 3rd is here? 😆

I think the third one just slots in, we kind if just got in with what the others were doing baby just went everywhere and managed to sleep everywhere too. Breastfeeding helped A LOT. Do you have helped lined up and is your first in a nursery or pre-school?

As for cleaning, get a cleaner or lower yoru standards, and cooking - ‘cook’ and the better kind of ready meals is your friend at the beginning.

you don’t quite have 3 under three though, your older one can be a great little helper.

I had the same. It is hard work but it’s works well with organisation

I had roughly that age gap (and then had two more!).

It is intense. But so fab when the baby is a bit older and they can all play together. My DC love reminiscing about the crazy games they played together.

Definitely get whatever outside help you can. Enforce a family nap/rest time after lunch (everyone on their beds, not sleeping if they’ve grown out of napping, but having some down time).

Eldest will love being your helper.

Suggest you give eldest a bit of one to one time if you can. We used to have “downstairs time” once a week when she stayed downstairs once the little ones had gone to bed. They can feel displaced and it’s good to give them some attention.

Good luck! Mine are older now and I look back with highly rose-tinted glasses at that stage.
