Looking for some advice - currently 32 weeks and went for my growth scan to discover the amniotic fluid has dropped very low and now oligohydramnios. I thought I had lost some fluid as felt damp but wasn’t convinced - anyway they did a PROM test which was negative- cervix closed and high - baby initially was on 12th percentile but now jumped to 32nd so that’s reassuring.
I was sent to assessment area and CTG etc showed baby is well atm - then I have to return in a week to see what’s happening with levels.
can these levels increase ? Anyone have any experience with this ? I have scared myself looking at what and why this could have happened. What I have seen online is that it can be very bad as nothing there to cushion the cord etc , dr told me to return to hospital if I have reduced movements or worried - the thing is I’m now constantly worried and baby doesn’t move particularly much now anyway - im so torn to know what I can do if anything - any advice would be greatly received.
