currently on the reoccurring miscarriage referral programme due to having a missed miscarriage in december 2025 to then go on to have a d&c surgery from this, i then had another missed miscarriage in march 2026 to then have another d&c surgery for them then think it was ectopic in falopian tube , had key hole surgery said is all normal, i had now found out they i am pregnant again july 2026, meant to be 4 weeks when found out, found out today on a pregnancy test it’s now not pregnant after the night before receiving another pregnant 1-2 weeks, and i am miscarrying naturally this time at 4 weeks 3 days. does anyone have any advice on why this could be from experience for example. i have my test results from the referral from the fertility clinic in 2 weeks time which is in links with the tommys charity. has anyone had anything like this happen as the only reason the hospital can give me is chromosomal issues.

I’m in a different situation to you but wanted to comment to try and boost this thread for you. So sorry for what you’re going through

I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

Hopefully the testing they will do at the reoccurring miscarriage clinic will be able to shed some light on it. Sometimes it can be chromosomal issues. I’m not sure how old you are, but from age 35 50% embryos are chromsomally abnormal. So it can just be rubbish luck. Sometimes if your thyroid TSH is too high it can cause an early loss (they should test for this and it’s an easy fix with medication). Sometimes low progesterone can cause it (and again it’s an easy fix with medication). They sort of take it in stages and rule out the usual suspects / add support through medication and then start to add in tests for more unusual conditions. I was given blood thinners (aspirin and clexane) as I had endometriosis plus a gene that’s linked to clotting that has been linked to recurrent miscarriage.

You will be in good hands and get answers soon xx
