I'm really sorry, I get why you're worried. The thing is those tests are only checking a certain HCG level, and giving a guide, but it varies so much in successful pregnancies. From like 5 miu to 1000 at 5 weeks. I think these tests are really harmful to people. Lots never get 3+ weeks for instance. I got light pink/brown bleeding in my last pregnancy who's now a 2 year old so this is common.

Can you book yourself maybe a private early scan at 6/7 weeks for reassurance?

I rang my GP
Whos rang EPU to refer me over thd phone
They should get back to me today
I did do a scan for 8 weeks but hoping EPU may do one earlier!
One can hope

I wouldn’t put too much stock in those weeks indicators, as pp said there’s so much variation in normal hcg levels that they don’t actually mean much. I’ve had several miscarriages and successful pregnancies and the weeks indicators have varied wildly and didn’t have much if any valuable predictive indicators of if I was going to miscarry or not.
Same with the spotting, I spotted and bled in my last miscarriage and in my current pregnancy as well. Will you be able to be prescribed progesterone by epu once they’ve scanned and confirmed pregnancy location? Good luck to you x

This is what im hoping for
Being sent back and forth from EPU at the moment which is stressful
Gonna have to ring GP again as EPU called saying the GP didnt refer me

Update
EPU wont do nothing till 6/7 weeks even with my previous losses
So its just a long waiting game and hope
Midwife said dont do anymoee digital tests
Need to do a test at 6 weeks if everything is still okay
If its still positive they will look at bloods and scan
Praying everything will be okay 🥺

@Countrygirl95 epu won’t scan any earlier than 6 weeks as it’s unlikely you’ll see much that will be reassuring at that point. I went for a scan with my current pregnancy at 6+1 and even that did not really provide answers, it was still termed a pregnancy of unknown viability and I had to wait another ten days for
another scan! This part of pregnancy is the absolute worst for anxiety and stress. I hope time passes quickly for you and you get answers soon. I am not sure if it will help you or not but in my last two pregnancies (one ended in loss and this one is currently 17weeks) I keep reminding myself that nothing I do will change the outcome no matter how much I want it to go one way!

also there’s a lovely thread - pregnancy after loss. Really supportive and lovely ladies in there and we all chat about these anxieties. Feel free to come and join if it would help to talk.
