Early scan dating behind with irregular periods after bleeding

So i had an early scan today as i bled lastnight originally thought i was 10+6 days going from my LMP but when they scanned they said i was only 8+2 days. I asked about this at the scan the woman said with my having irregular periods it can happen but everything ive read online since coming home says its usually not good and the start of a miscarriage.. i was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what there outcome was. For context my periods are very irregular some months ill not have a period the next month ill have 2, simetimes i bleed for a week sometimes its only 3 days and then my periods vary from 28 to 34 days

Do you know when you ovulated or what date was your first positive test? and have they booked you in for another scan xx

Hey, I stopped tracking ovulation as my periods were very irregular and was trying for over a year and a half so gave up really and didnt't think it was going to happen. But my first positive test was 20th June. I haven't had a period since the 29th April. I only took a test as i was going to go to the doctors about my irregular periods
