Pregnant or not?

Hi everyone, i suspect i may be pregnant. I feel bloated and full in my stomach and very tired a lot. I havent taken a pregnancy test yet as its only been 5 days since i had unprotected intercourse, however i was ovulating at same time i had sex. Im not due on my period for atleast 11 days, ive started having a light pinkish orange discharge. I will be taking a pregnancy test soon. Ill wait til the discharge has gone. What do you think this light discharge might be? I hope im pregnant as ive never had a baby before.

You can’t really be actually pregnant if you only had sex 5 days ago. However it doesn’t mean you will not be pregnant very soon. Once you’ve had sex it takes an fertilised egg 5 days to become ready to start implanting. You are only “pregnant” once it has implanted and this happens anywhere from 6-12 days after fertilisation. So any symptoms you have now cannot be pregnancy related as HCG is only produced once the embryo has implanted. Wait at least 7 more days then take a test.

Okay, i will definately test in a week as i never have periods early, they tend to be just on time or late. Thank you for your advise x
