Yes its fine in pregnancy and when breastfeeding. I was exhausted and took it to avoid having to take the iron tablets the Drs wanted to give me. It really works I felt loads better after taking it, really dealt with the fatigue.
I took it with fresh orange juice so all you taste is the orange...it tastes like water but with a kind of metal tang if you take it on its own. Health food shops sell it as well as Boots.

Boots often do it 3 for 2. It's good stuff. Take it with OJ as disguises the metal taste and aids absorption of the iron.

I'm taking Spatone liquid and can't taste it at all. I take it with orange juice.

I'm breast feeding and it's quite safe but I know it is also fine in pregnancy (my MW told me).

Holland and Barratt sell it and it's £7.95 for 28 sachets.

Spatone is great, I took it with orange juice, to cover up the metal taste....it also is absorbed better by the gut if taken with orange juice. Best thing is you can get it free on prescription when you are pregnant and up to the babys 1st birthday
