Dropped...

At my last Midwife appointment (32 weeks) she seemed surprised with my first baby that it was buried into my pelvis already. None the less, she wasn't too bothered since she booked me in another 3 weeks to see her.

I'm now 33 weeks and my belly appears to have dropped considerably and also i'm getting twinges 'down below' but very occasionally. Nothing else to report except feeling really bunged up and needing the toilet every two minutes (literally!).

Does anyone have any experience of all this so early? It could be normal but if it isn't should I be checking in with my midwife sooner etc?!

Any advice welcome.

Don't worry my first did the same and I maanged to get her out at 39+2. I always have severe BH in pregnancy, and small bumps so feel everything.

Even now on my 2nd baby head down at 24 weeks and has never turned, and engaged around 33 weeks, but this pregnancy babies head can bob in and out, but mine hasn't.

I just think it depends on the baby and person and each pregnancy is different. Also it doesn't mean that the baby will come early.

Sorry to dissappoint.

how do you know whether the head is down or not?

mrsboogie

Baby has been 'down' for several midwife appointments and my midwife says that i'm 3.5's engaged and with first baby it's highly unlikely that it will come out and go back etc...as with future pregancies where baby can disengage.

Also, I feel the feet under my breast bone!!
