Maybe. I always had a lot more than that though. It might be starting though, and you might have more over the next 24 hours or maybe this is the start of labour! fingers crossed for you!

Maybe but agreed it’s not a lot so far, and show sometimes means labour is imminent and sometimes doesn’t! Good luck!

Thank you for the reply! I’ve had lots of nerve shooting pains the last couple of days I’ve had them for weeks but really severe recently so it’s making me think baby is very far down and could be causing this xx

It could be the beginning but not enough yet. The mucus plug is often yellowish, clear and gloopy/ stringy where’s as bloody shows a bit more red stringy discharge.

presume there are no adverse smells and you feel ok? Give it 24hrs and see.

Hope it’s not long for you! For me I don’t remember bright red blood but thick mucus with streaks in it, which came out in increasingly big chunks. Lovely!

Mine was very gloopy with a tiny tinge of blood. First baby it came out in one go and contractions immediately started and gave birth 8 hours later.

second, I had a little bit come out the day before (looked a bit like your photo), more came out the next day and then that evening contractions happened and baby came three hours later.

Currently pregnant with baby #3 and you’re reminding me of how exciting it is to be at the very end with labour starting anytime.

Get some sleep this evening just to be safe!
