Hello,

im 18 weeks pregnant and have had no movement. I’m also super worried about toxoplasmosis as I ate a few unwashed raspberries the other day and have been eating salads in restaurants. I’m also paranoid I’ve not been washing my fruit and veg enough as I read somewhere about soaking things in vinegar! I feel a little crazy but anxious

Very few people have movement at 18 weeks. I had some flutters once at around 18 weeks but actual movement wasn’t until circa 22-24 weeks.

I'm also 18 weeks and haven't felt much movement yet. I thought I felt some flutters a few days ago, but nothing since so maybe it was just wind 😅.

I'm a bit worried too, so I completely understand where you're coming from. I've had lots of reassurance that this is really normal, though, and that plenty of people haven't felt much by this stage.

It's a strange time because I have very few symptoms and no noticeable bump yet, so it feels a bit disconcerting.

I hope everything is okay, OP, but it's more than likely that it is. ❤️ If you can't console yourself you should call your midwife who can hopefully give you some more reassurance.

Thank you! Appreciate that and hope you’re doing ok too

Totally normal not to feel movement yet. I also wouldn’t worry about the salad and berries, very low risk. Wash them normally at home and you’ll be okay.
