Hey, I am due on the 27th dec with baby number two and thought it would be a good idea to start a tread?💗 how’s everyone coping, when are you all due?

@mummyofagirlxxxxx okay-ish. Having some ups and downs, switching jobs whilst pregnant out of necessity. Pregnancy wise this one is a bit better than the first. My nausea and vomiting is starting to fade quite a bit, but with my first it didn't budge until 30 weeks so i'm pleased about that.

How is your pregnancy going? How old is your little girl? I have a little boy - 20 months old.

i do hope it calms down for you soon in terms with the work situation that’s the last thing you need.

glad the sickness has calmed down for you. I found that once I reached the 13 week mark I started to feel better too, so many people thought keep banging on about that I should have felt the baby move by now so that’s worrying me although I am only just 15 weeks I thought that would be too early. My little girl just turned two last week 🥰 x

@mummyofagirlxxxxx aw happy birthday to your little girl.

I remember not feeling my first kicking until 20 weeks or so, my placenta was at the front so the midwife said it might have been absorbing the impact! I haven't felt anything yet with this one either. I think it's still quite early. Sometimes I think I am getting a flutter but I think it's just gas 😂

@mummyofagirlxxxxx oh bless you! I had my 16 week check yesterday with the midwife and my BP is creeping up.. it was 120/70 last time and now 133/81.. Are you feeling okay? That sucks to have been in hospital all day I hope you are alright now.

I've had a little bit of movement but not much. Nothing regular yet a few flutters. How about you?

mummyofagirlxxxxx · 17/07/2026 08:56

Did they listen to babies heartbeat? I had my 16 week one yesterday too and was gutted they didn’t listen to heartbeat but apparently they don’t do it that early anymore.

awww that’s amazing you’ve had a few flutters, that’s so reassuring, I’ve had nothing yet:(

oh no:( I hope your bp doesn’t go too high as well:( it’s not nice. I am okay I had preeclampsia with my daughter so I knew I would have problems with my bp this pregnancy:( it’s just annoying but hopefully everything will be ok!

They did listen to the heart beat. That's a shame they didn't do the same for you, it's really reassuring to hear the heartbeat I really hope they do it for you next time.

I hope your BP settles. If you've got medication that should help?

It really is only a few flutters, I think twice! I don't think I felt my son kicking for ages.
