Positive experiences of gallstones during pregnancy and after delivery

Looking for positive stories from those who have suffered gallbladder issues during pregnancy.

I have never had issues with my gallbladder before. This is my 3rd pregnancy - I have 1 little boy and unfortunately suffered a mmc late last year.

This pregnancy I have had 2 seperate gallstone attacks - one at 7 weeks and one at 16 weeks. The second attack I ended up going to a&e due to the severity of the pain. I have had an ultrasound which confirmed I have numerous gallstones.

I am wondering the likelihood of this being pregnancy related or if this is now something I should continue to be fearful of, even after delivery.

looking to hear positive experiences of people either never having another attack after pregnancy or from those who have had surgery and have had a positive recovery. (I have exhausted google and social media which seem full of negative experiences)

I had gallstones was agony worse than labour pains! Had my gallbladder & gallstones removed when I was 3 months pregnant. Had no problems this was in 1996, so not sure if they do operation now while pregnant?
