Just looking to see if anyone else has been through similar. We booked a private dating scan yesterday estimated 10 weeks 5 days. We were told at our booking appointment on Sunday our local NHS is a few weeks behind with scans/appointments so just for peace of mind booked a private scan. All tests at booking appointment came back normal.
At the scan the sonographer said she couldnt see what she would expect to, she then done an internal scan which she also said the same. She obviously cant discuss anything medical. She put on my notes i took away - may be a molar pregnancy, there was no heartbeat, sac or fetal pole. I have absolutely no symptoms of a molar pregnancy. She said there is no masses, cysts or free fluid present on the scan. She said the placenta forming appeared lumpy and not smooth as she would expect.
I have looked online and it sounds more like it could be a missed miscarriage. Just hoping to hear of other experiences as I cant get an appointment at our local hospital till next week🥺.
