no symptoms?

I am about 6 weeks pregnant and have not had a single symptom so far such as morning sickness, tiredness etc. I know I know I am very grateful - but also worried - is this normal? Have had odd period style pains - nothing unbearable but that is it. Can this be right?

(Ps when I post tomorrow after throwing up constantly you can all laugh at me)

My friend has just had the same and it took her 12wk scan to make her believe she was pregnant and she saw the baby bouncing around!

I had no symptoms with DS at all. My first 'symptom' was going into labour.

I'm nearly 16 weeks now and again have had no symptoms, just a bit more tired than usual.

I also didn't have any symptoms and as my first 2 tests were negative even the positive one didn't convince me - I was genuinely surprised to see a baby on my scan! I feel pretty lucky, as my cousin is 20 odd weeks, still suffering with sickness and also has pelvic displacement (or whatever it's called). I feel a bit of a fraud when people ask me how I'm feeling, but I'm very grateful! I'm also pleased to hear I'm not the only one.

Hi, im just 5 weeks and have no symptoms yet. I only have slight tender breasts but thats normal in my eyes as they are so hugh normally!! I dont feel sick or anymore tired than normal. I guess we are lucky or it will come back to get us with revenge later!

Mirry71 when are you due?

babyignoramus · 25/06/2008 14:32

I'm in my 6th week and have had the periody type pains but until today nothing else. Today has been the first day I've felt queasy and it's lasted all day (so far). Not too bad though. My mum said she had nothing at all.

zoejeanne · 25/06/2008 15:02

I had those pains too - the doc told me they were normal, but I think that's why I didn't do a test until about 7 weeks, as I just thought I was about to start late. Hope the sicky feeling goes

I'm getting worried re no symptoms so glad to hear i'm not the only one! Had sore bbs when first got BFP but not sore now (have a DS already) I'm 8 weeks. Is that normal???

notcitrus · 25/06/2008 21:44

I had no symptoms for ages - the went to the GP when I got totally knackered with a cold, he did blood tests, and turned out I was 14 weeks.

Then I got a lot more tired and also pelvic pain (SPD), so now I'm 28 weeks and haven't been working for 3 weeks (now working from home).

Enjoy it while it lasts, and hopefully you'll be lucky and not have many nasty symptoms at all! I just try to be grateful for all the symptoms I don't have...

my mil told me that your body can still go in cycles even when you're pg, would that be it? don't worry, enjoy it and relax.
you may think that you have no symptoms but ask dh/dp. mine told me I was a bloody cow moody etc (after much probing by me!)

Knax · 26/06/2008 19:31

thanks jamescagney... maybe it's just a cycle thing then.
