Late period and very faint positive tests, could they still be right?

Hi all,

My period is late by 6 days now. I did a clear and simple tests on Tuesday and got a very faint line. Did another this morning and the line is still so faint! Are these false positives or are they right and they are normal to be so faint?
The top test is Tuesdays and the bottom is today's (thursday). I feel like today's is lighter! Could this be that the other has had longer to sit?
Boobs still aching and no sign of period whatsoever. Going out of my mind, its all I can think about!
I also did a digital test on Tuesday and this said negative but that was in the afternoon when I had been drinking all day.
Any advice welcome, thank you!

I should also add that I had light brown spotting 6 days ago. This was very light and only lasted an hour or so.

I don't think there are really false positives with these tests, but it could potentially be very early miscarriage. I wouldn't give up hope yet though, the test is still positive but you're right that it looks very faint for two days later than the first.
