When should cervical length scans start after a previous LLETZ?

When did everyone get their cervical scan?

when I had my booking appointment I mentioned I had lletz procedure done 10 years ago. The midwife said I’ll be referred to preterm clinic.
she said I’ll get cervical scans done to keep an eye on the length incase it shortens.
im 15 weeks 2 days and still not heard anything yet, is this normal or should I give them a ring?

I had a LETZ around 8-10 years ago and had the usual scans at 12 (dating) and 20 weeks (anatomy), during which the
sonographer also measured cervical length.

Then an additional scan at 30 weeks. The next is booked for 37 weeks.

I had my 12 week scan by itself and then the first cervical length scan separately at 15+5, and they’ve said I’ll have further cervical length scans at around 22 and 28 weeks. I’d maybe get in touch to chase it up!

I had mine at 14 and 16 weeks (two different pregnancies)

I would chase it up because I’m sure both times I already had a date booked by the time I went for my 12 week dating scan

What was the outcome for everyone?
mum hoping cos it was 10 years ago I should be ok, but I am worried about preterm birth

It’s more to do with how much they had to take off, I believe. And I suppose how much cervix you had to begin with!

both my scans were fine - no further action needed. Just one scan per pregnancy.
