Could this be a decidual cast after two weeks of spotting?

Warning - Picture Attached!

Hi,

Unsure what board to post this on but looking for some advice.

This morning I passed this clot? Picture is attached for reference. Does anyone know what this is? I have been spotting/light bleeding for 2 weeks, negative pregnancy tests and not trying to get pregnant. Since passing this, I’m now just having what feels like a normal period with mild cramping.

Is this a decidual cast?

Thanks xx

I am not a doctor but I get casts and yes they look like this. In my experience after it passes any bleeding is very light. In saying that if this isn't common for you I would get a histology bag from your GP tomorrow and get it analysed.

Rest up too. I find they are torturously painful to pass

Thank you for replying.

I have had large clots etc in the past but never anything that resembled tissue like this. Quite a surprise as I actually felt this expel while cleaning the bathroom.

The bleeding now is bright red and not too heavy, definitely more like a period. Does the bleeding last as long as period after passing a cast or is it shorter?

Yes I get them a lot and it always disturbs me, like a part of my body is falling off. Usually light period bleeding for 1-2 days but I don't know anyone else who gets them so that is one persons experience
