Freedom pregnancy test - real or false positive?

Does this test definitely look positive to anyone?

I don't know whether to trust it or not as I've read loads of reviews on this brand saying it gives false positives. It's the Freedom Urine HCG test from Tesco. It was FMU this morning, and I'm about five days late on my period.

The picture on the grey background is straight after I did it, and the picture on the yellow background is about five minutes after with the brightness/contrast settings adjusted.

The picture on the grey background shows a load of dye bleed on either edge of the cassette, so I wouldn’t think it’s positive, I’d assume it’s dye bleed tracking up the test indent I’m afraid. I’d also expect an instant dark line for 5 days late.

the yellow background test absolutely looks positive though so I’d suggest you try a digital in a couple of days to be sure, but dip the test in to a collected sample, and be careful not to go over the plastic test end to avoid flooding and dye bleed. 🤞🏻
