Pregnancy limbo

So we’ve hit week 14 after our miscarriage.
its a weird time.
i feel like I’m in limbo.
everything was ok at the 12 week scan but there’s nothing now till our appointment at 17 weeks and I was told we might not even have chance to hear the heartbeat.
so no actual reassurance until the 20 week scan.
Pregnancy symptoms have almost gone, I just seem to be putting weight on and sore nips 😂
just waiting to see if baby bean can throw some kicks out so I know they’re ok.

any tips on keeping sane?

I still feel like that at 27 weeks- I have not done any private scans because I don’t want to get caught in an anxiety loop but I’m trying to just take it one day at a time.

@SquareSweetsThatLookRound yeah we had a scan at 8 weeks which gave me reassurance for a day 🙈 at £60-80 a scan I just think i could put that money to better use for the baby. But I still darent buy anything.
i don’t think the heat is helping either

I’m the same at nearly 14 weeks, will be booking a private scan at 16 weeks to break the waiting up a bit and to find out what we’re having. I’ve had quite a few scans already, due to quite a few previous losses I was having weekly scans at EPU until 12 weeks so to go from that to no scans for ages is strange!
