I posted previously about tests not getting darker after frozen embryo tramsfer . Unfortunately had my beta yesterday and came back at 17.5 11dpt. I know this is a chemical pregnancy but just seeing if there's any hope at all.

I go back tomorrow for a second beta. This was second transfer. Also had a failed iui

Im also wondering if the clinic should of picked up on the fact I spotted after a week after my first transfer and upped my progesterone and that possibly led to this one not sticking. Im unsure now weather to take a break or go again but its so expensive 😩

Very very unlikely I'm afraid. You should really be at a minimum of 50ish by now. I'm sorry.

Progesterone is a tricky one. My clinic were always super chill about Progesterone levels. I always bled with pregnancies and wanted to take more which they did eventually agree to to keep me quiet, but with hindsight now I'm at the end of my journey, the bleeding was consistent no matter what I took, the important bit was whether the embryos were actually viable.

Im so sorry you’re going through this. It’s just awful - I’ve been there.

The last thing I want to do is give you false hope but with my frozen transfer, I tested negative in the morning of the day of the clinic blood test. I’d done a home test to prepare myself as we’d already had unsuccessful cycles.
I still went in for the blood test (convinced it hadn’t worked) and the clinic called later to say my hcg reading was 25. They were very cautious about how this could/would progress, but did say fet’s can take a little longer to get going. I had a repeat blood test 2 days later and numbers had increased & I was very fortunate to move ahead with a healthy pregnancy.

sending you love as you navigate the next few days xx

Hello. I don’t know the answers to your questions but wanted to offer a handhold as I too have been through IVF and I know how tough it is on every level. The only advice I can offer is to say that you that you won’t find the answers you need on the internet. I remember googling late into the night, trying to work out if something was a positive/negative sign and my mind was in a constant loop thinking about it. Really try to take things one day at a time. I know this kind of advice can be irritating but I offer it in good spirit and wish you all the best x

Thank you guys for the replies i am currently waiting on second blood draw now to see what's but in not expecting a good outcome cramping has been very bad last two days. Im sure once I stop the meds I will bleed. Now I need to decide what's next 😢

Just a little update in case anyone else goes through similar. Results came back and level only rose to 23 so unfortunately a chemical pregnancy. Stop all meds and wait for a bleed and back to the clinic Monday to make sure levels drop and that's its not ectopic. Devastated but not shocked.
