Worried about overheating after walking in the heat at 10 weeks pregnant

Hi all

i did something really stupid and wasn’t really thinking. There’s a heatwave going on atm in the 30-34degree range and had to go for a meeting at school for my child starting there and had no car due to being borrowed. I ended up getting bus to town which was stuffy and then walked from town to the school which is a 15-25min walk.
I had sun cream and hat on with bottle water and tried to walk in shade when I could which was only in certain bits. I stopped here and there for a drink too.
when I arrived at the school and sat down my whole body and face felt it was boiling hot. Can’t really explain it other than like a kettle boiling water.
i tried to drink water and woft a booklet as a fan to cool down.
im really scared that this has harmed the baby as says overheating can cause miscarriage or birth defects. I don’t know what to think or do. I’m 10weeks pregnant forgot to mention at beginning

thank you

At 10 weeks you'll need to wait and see bit ultimately if you are recovered now akd didnt habe heat stroke Tl/ need medical attention id imagine you are fine.

I would take it as a warning and try and take it easy. Maybe get one of those handheld fans or.one of the lads thst goes arpund your neck.

If it makes you feel better, I did a 30 min walk to and 30 min walk from my toddler’s class this morning - I’m 26 weeks pregnant and was boiling & sweaty! I can feel baby kicking nicely & didn’t think twice about doing it as I’ll go mad stuck indoors all day, as will toddler! I’m sure you’ll be fine - you just don’t want to overheat to the point you collapse as that could be dangerous. Otherwise, these are temps many in the world have to contend with when pregnant every day and they manage 💐
