Bleeding at 6weeks + smaller sac

Hi everyone, I’m going through a couple of terrible days filled with anxiety, fear, and total uncertainty, and I just really needed to vent and look for some support.
Last Saturday, I started with some light pink spotting and went to the ER. They checked me and said everything looked fine (cervix closed, no visible hematomas), but on the ultrasound, only the gestational sac could be seen. They told me the sac measured around 5 weeks and that it was normal not to see anything else yet due to the size. This really worried me because I am 100% sure of my dates based on my ovulation day, so I knew I was entering week 6. On top of that, they sent me home with strict instructions to completely and immediately wean my 2-year-old toddler because they said breastfeeding could be dangerous in my situation.
The next day, the bleeding increased a bit and turned into a dark brown/chocolate color. I went back to the ER completely terrified, but they told me it was just old blood coming out. They checked me again, found everything the same, and sent me back home to rest and take things very easy. Fortunately, today the bleeding has stopped (at least for now).
Right now, I am in a waiting period that feels absolutely endless. My next follow-up ultrasound is this coming Monday; that's when they will see if the sac has grown and if the embryo is there with a heartbeat, or if it’s a non-viable pregnancy. To make matters worse, I am on my third day of total weaning and I barely have any pregnancy symptoms (my breasts haven't grown and they don't hurt, no nausea), which scares me even more, even though I know I'm around 6 weeks and 2 days now. I am in an emotional tsunami and feel like I'm losing hope.
Has anyone passed through a similar bleeding early on, with a sac that measured smaller, and had it turn out fine? How did weaning affect your symptoms? I would truly appreciate any experiences or words of encouragement. Thank you so much!
