Hello all, just looking for some advice.

Last year I had a mmc with my first baby, we have been ttc since December 2025 and on 21st June 2026 I got a positive early pregnancy test two days before my period was due and yesterday I got a pregnant 1-2 weeks on a digital.

I am terrified after my loss and I am over analysing and overthinking everything. Yesterday I noticed small red streaks in my discharge, only happened twice and then nothing at all since. This morning when I woke up I had what looked like tan ish coloured discharge, is this normal?

In my pregnancy last year I didn’t have any implantation bleeding or spotting so this is all new to me so I am just reaching out for some advice. My period was due today and I have no cramps or pain etc, just this funny coloured discharge.

Could it just be implantation bleeding/spotting?

TIA

As your period was only due today I personally wouldn't worry about the discharge. It's mostly brown which means it's old blood leaving so could easily be related to implantation bleeding. I was still having small streaks of red at that point too which i assume was implantation bleeding.

I totally understand how triggering it is. I'm pregnant now but have had 2 MMC before this. Any amount of brown or red causes huge anxiety.

Pregnancy after loss can be so difficult especially early on. I don’t think what’s shown in your picture is anything to be concerned about.

Just to add that bleeding during pregnancy is also not always a sign that the pregnancy is over. I’ve had really quite heavy bleeding during this pregnancy and I’m 25 weeks now. Doesn’t help with the anxiety though! Best of luck x
