Hope Im posting in the right location on here but looking for some positive stories of women who have had 2 + miscarraiges and went on to have a successful pregnancy without the help of IVF?
I have had an early chemical on my first, MMC on my second at 10 weeks with surgical management. Need some hope or positive stories that might bring me a glimmer of hope, had some basic blood testing so far and nothing found in these.

Sending you lots of love, I don’t have a positive story yet I’m afraid but just wanted to post as I’m in the same position as you. First miscarried naturally at 6w2d then second miscarriage I needed an ERPC at 8 weeks. All bloods including for thyroid, clotting screens etc… have all came back as normal so they just say it’s bad luck. I was prescribed progesterone this time around but it didn’t help in the end unfortunately.

There was a recent thread of someone asking similar I’ll see if I can find it and link it as there were some lovely success stories on there ☺️

Thank you @sapphirerubydiamond it is just heartbreaking isn't it, I am so terribly sorry for your losses too. I've left a big gap between my second loss and ttc again, to recover emotionally, so I am hoping that that wont have had a negative impact as I am older now. The very best of luck with your journey x

i am so sorry it is truly awful.
Have a look at the Miscarriage/Conception board there are lots of women who are going through similar.
I had my daughter after 3 losses, saw Dr Shehata (you will hear the name on many threads) and was prescribed vitamin d, progesterone and steroids to suppress my immune system. That was 15 years ago and many women like me have been helped since.

Take care and give yourself time and hope.

I'm so sorry for what you've been through. If it helps, I had 3 miscarriages over 4 years before my first successful pregnancy. I went on to have a baby girl, then a boy 3 years later, they are currently 7 and 4 and I'm pregnant with a third. I'd absolutely explore fertility treatments to maximise your chances but for us, in the end, all 3 have been conceived naturally. Best of luck op, it can work out in the end, and I promise it's worth it so keep trying x

So sorry OP it is utterly heartbreaking. I had 2 MC, one at 6 weeks and another with a lack of heart beat at my 12 week scan. I was devastated. It was years ago now and at the time they said they wouldn't do any investigations until you'd had 3 MC. It felt so cruel. The positive news is that my next 2 pregnancies were successful. I was nervous the whole time. A roller coaster of emotion. Don't give up hope. Good luck and best wishes. X

We tried for over a year and I was just starting to go through the investigation process for IVF on the NHS.

I miscarried at my previous job and they were a bunch of c*nts about it. I finally hit my limit when they refused to sign off on my professional development, gave me the most misogynistic and out of touch speech about work ethic and quit. Whilst working my notice I noticed my body looked different and took a pregnancy test which was positive. At the dating scan it turned out I literally conceived less than a week after quitting my job and 3 months after losing my first.

Honestly the joy I felt was amazing. My whole body feels relaxed and my mental health has taken on a new lease on life. I even got a glow up during pregnancy.

Hi OP. I'm sorry about your losses. It's such a tough thing to go through. My first pregnancy I conceived on my first try. No problems, easy pregnancy and delivery. Second pregnancy was an MMC at nearly 10 weeks with surgical management. Third pregnancy was a blighted ovum at 7 weeks with medical management. Fourth pregnancy resulted in a healthy baby girl. I was on progesterone until 14 weeks but I'm not sure if they did anything. Progesterone only helps if the cause of your losses is related to bleeding. But it did give me reassurance. I think my losses were just bad luck. Hopefully it's the same for you 🤞🏻

AutumnAllTheWay · 22/06/2026 00:32

Had 2 miscarriages, both discovered at 12 week scan.

Went on to have three healthy pregnancies.

Apparently after two its far more likely you'll have a healthy one than another loss.

Hopefully this is true for you
